We had the honor of visiting with French painter, Laurie Nasica, at her studio based in San Diego, California. She shared a bit about herself, her process, and her Pons!
Tell a little about yourself!
Hi! I’m Laurie. I am a French born painter based in San Diego, CA.
I like to paint about the human experience, the ways in which we love and feel.
How would you describe your craft? What inspires you?
I paint to make sense of the world around me. I like to paint about the human experience, the ways in which we love and feel. I am currently working on a series – Friends & Family – with the intention of giving external form to the invisible dynamics between people.
What do you love about your Pons?
They’re cozy. I’m big on comfort!
How do you style your Pons?
Knit pants and and an oversized button up shirt would be my fit.
You mentioned having a pair of pons once upon a time, could you tell us about that again?
I had a pair of the classic style in black a while back – they were cute and easy to slip on, I wore them lovingly until it was time for them to retire.
