Mnemonic Coffee
Mnemonic Coffee in Banker’s Hill. I love their seasonals but when I get to sit and stay a while, it’s a cortado for me. Coffee experts, friendly faces, warm and welcoming shop. I love it here.
San Diego Zoo
San Diego Zoo, my faaaavorite place to walk around. I’m a year-round regular. I love to go both with friends and also alone — sometimes I make it a big walking day and others I sit near one exhibit for a while and zone out. I always rush straight to Kaja, the young orangutan when I visit, and I get super excited to chill with the hippos, too. Mnemonic -> SD Zoo is a perfect little 1, 2.
Bird Park
Bird Park for my biweekly knitting circle! A casual meetup with fellow knitters every other Sunday. Usually surrounded by similar meetups like book clubs and yoga, plus friends + dogs just hangin’. A quintessential San Diego park experience.
TJ Oyster Bar
TJ Oyster Bar. Despite oysters in the name, my order here is actually smoked tuna tostadas + tacos and a michelada. It’s a go-to every-occasion place for my partner and me, one of our comfort meals.
